We firmly believe that your 'Dining Experience' can make the difference between a good and a truly memorable holiday, So we have put a lot of effort into selecting local ingredients and choosing a hearty and balanced menu that will suit every taste and include some Savoyarde specialities.
We offer a hearty breakfast to set you up for a full day on the slopes. Once you have returned from an exhilarating and undoubtedly exhausting day carving up some of the finest pistes that France has to offer, you will be welcomed back every day for afternoon tea, which includes home-made cakes and drinks.
Our evening meal, set over three, four or even five courses, boasts a comforting balance of fine cuisine and homely cooking that is sure to suit all appetites. All prepared in house by our professional chef. The children's menu is all home-made, and high tea is served early to suit childrens' bed times and allows adults to relax and be pampered ! We offer 2 Savoyard Evenings including a Cheese Fondue with local Beaufort Cheese provided by the village farm and a Traditional Tartiflette. We can cater for any special dietary requirements.
The personal touch and the little details that really set us apart
We will be able to provide a Picnic for the day for a small charge or recommend where to head for one of the picnic venues or a hearty meal on the slopes. There is of course a variety of restaurants on the mountains with the cheapest Expresso in the Alps at only 90 Cents !
At the end of your energetic day, possibly after a hot wine at the old farm Le Sauget at the top of the slope or a beer at Les 3 Glaciers Après Ski bar nearby, you can reward yourself with a slice of delicious home-made cake followed by a sauna or perhaps a massage while the children are fed and looked after.
Your chef meanwhile, will be adding the finishing touches to your meal, while you enjoy your first glass of something to reward yourself for all your on and off piste exploits. During dinner, wine will be served, carefully chosen by a Local wine merchant and following dinner you can retire to the living room, where fresh coffee and a selection of teas await you.
Each day we try and provide a little something to make your meal special whether it is a regional dish served with a special local wine or home-made génepi to sample. On the Staff's night off which is usually a Wednesday, we recommend a local restaurant who offer a free taxi service to and from the chalet, where you can sample further local delicacies.
